What Learning Wealth Planning Taught Me Beyond Numbers

A few months ago, I was still trying to understand financial ratios, retirement calculations, insurance planning, and how financial health checks actually work in real life.

Coming from a background in technology, consulting, business development, SaaS, partnerships, and strategic collaborations, the world of wealth planning initially felt unfamiliar to me. But at the same time, that unfamiliarity became one of the reasons why I wanted to learn it more deeply.

Recently, I completed the Qualified Wealth Planner™ (QWP™) Program, and honestly, the experience taught me much more than just calculations and theories.

It gave me a different perspective on how financial planning is deeply connected to people’s lives, responsibilities, future goals, risks, and peace of mind. Behind every financial number, there are real stories and real decisions that shape someone’s future.

One thing I realized during this journey is that learning should never be limited by our formal educational background or industry experience. Sometimes growth happens when we allow ourselves to step into areas we previously knew very little about.

I’m grateful for all the discussions, case studies, learning process, and guidance throughout this experience. Special thanks as well to my mentor, Mas Himawan Adhi, for all the patience and insights during the program.

This is definitely not the end of the journey, but simply another milestone and another reminder that there is always something new to learn, improve, and understand better.

Also… my name got a little bit longer now HAHAHAHA
